"How Veterinarians can Strategically Manage VMB Complaints and Lawsuits"
Dan will speak on what veterinarians and veterinary practice managers can (and should) do when faced with a Veterinary Medical Board complaint or a civil suit. He will discuss the substantive and procedural steps that shold be followed when faced with a VMB complaint or lawsuit, as well as techniques to avoid becoming the subject of such a proceeding in the first place. The goal is for attendees to leave the presentation with a clearer sense of their rights and responsibilities vis-a-vis veterinary legal proceedings, and how to avoid them.
